    It looks like you may not have ran the full command in the code box under step 2 in a command prompt.

    How did the .bat file work for you?

    This is what happened on the bat file.

    In that case, see if resetting the "Microsoft Store" app may be able to sort the issue you are having with it instead.

    microsoft store will not run. Shows on the start menu but not in Programs & Apps.
    tried to re-register but get this:

    If you haven't already, you might see if resetting the Microsoft Store app using the method in the tutorial below may help.

    Reset App in Windows 10

    If not, then doing a repair install of Windows 10 below should fix it without losing anything.

    tried re-setting, a repair install was my next option but thought it was a bit drastic so was trying to see if there was anything else I could try
