Go to your "colors" setting on the menu and choose "Custom". Not sure if that has anything at all to do with it, but if your "Color" setting is gray.... Worth a try.

The lock screen may use the windows default picture at first after resetting and re-registering Spotlight. Just try waiting, the note at the end of the tutorial does say....

Sometimes it may take up to 24 hours after resetting for Windows Spotlight to sync again.

Mine, sometimes, goes back to that default picture with the hole in a rock formation looking out to the sea, when I'm running updates of one sort, or another. But it does, usually, return to form. Thing is, with the eval copies, you never really know what's going to happen and, at times, it gets a little frustrating. It all works out though.

    Hello Jason,

You might try resetting Windows Spotlight one more time, and wait again to see if it may help.

If it doesn't, then you could do a repair install.

I got 5 ystems on my network, and I have had 5 different experiences with the Spotlight. It is probably still unstable. I know with the eval Insider Previews, it is incredibly unstable.
