Since I updated my desktop PC to v2004 a few weeks ago, the Spotlight image has not changed on each account. I've tried the batch file twice now in one account. That does cause the image to change but then it just stays fixed. For some reason, the batch file is not working to completely reset Spotlight.

I’ve found on occasion it takes two ‘cleans’ to fix the problem.
Also I change Spotlight to picture, close the settings, lock the screen & wake (log in) then run the the .bat, then open settings>Lock Screen & change picture to spotlight then lock the screen again & wake. This seems to work better for some reason.
Both of my computers are stuck on their own lock screen. I've used the batch file many times on both, but no joy. they've both lost the information I like to see about the picture too.
As if by magic, Spotlight has started working on my offending desktop PC after doing another reset as shown in this tutorial about 3 days ago.
No matter what I do, Spotlight doesn't start working.
I've got two PC:s. Both of them had working Spotlight initially, but after months the image gets stuck to the default one. I've tried all possible resets, reboots, bats, registry tricks, but no avail. I'm frustrated. How difficult can it be to get an image to change?
I'm facing the same issue here.
Tried the reset procedure with no effect.
Any ideas how to fix it?
UPDATE:
Seems to work again. One has to wait a little bit until the magic happens.
So anyone having this problem, follow the exact steps, make sure your computer has access to the internet and is turned on and then wait...Sometimes it may take up to 24 hours after resetting for Windows Spotlight to sync again.
Thanks for the tutorial!
