    OPTION TWO
    To Convert Windows 10 from Legacy BIOS to UEFI at Boot
    - this is done from the Cmd Prompt at boot - labelled the X -prompt as shown on the image under that heading
    which is the same as using a WinPE boot disc, made as below.
    WinPE in the context of the tutorial may be referred to as the Windows recovery environment cmd prompt - opened at boot

    Thanks nice guides.

    So i can use that commands when i would like to convert mbr to gpt without data and partitions loosing right?

    what does mean that error:

    C:\Windows\system32>mbr2gpt /validate /allowFullOS
    MBR2GPT: Attempting to validate disk 0
    MBR2GPT: Retrieving layout of disk
    MBR2GPT: Validating layout, disk sector size is: 512 bytes
    Disk layout validation failed for disk 0

    Please open a new thread.

    In the new thread post images or share links for:

    a) disk management > make sure that the Volume and Status columns are widened so that no characters are cut off and make sure that row 0 is widened so that no characters are cut off

    b) mini tool partition wizard > click launch
