Update Assistant is not required if you have 2004 right now. Please post your current Windows version from winver command.
If you have 2004, check for optional updates under Windows Update or you could just download and install the 20H2 Enablement KB KB4562830 Enablement Package Feature Update to Windows 10 version 20H2
Parece demasiado anormal, ¿no?
You may want to reconsider upgrading to 20H2, since a major issue has been discovered that will not allow you to repair your installation using an in-place upgrade...and keep your personal data and apps.
Windows 10 20H2 Upgrade
You have the option to roll back to your previous version for 10 days...after installing a new version.
If you have an issue with 20H2 that requires a repair install after that, your only choices are a clean install, until this issue is fixed...or restore from a current disk image backup.
Make sure you have done a disk image backup of your current install before proceeding.
You should also make sure you are saving files that are changing between making image backups.
A good free tool to use for that is Karen's Replicator -
Karen's Replicator the Backup Utility for Windows v3.7.6 Released May 25, 2020 | Karen's Power Tools
This should help minimize data loss, in case you need to restore.
I personally would not advise upgrading to 20H2 at this time.
Won't they be able to uninstall the Enablement KB, then use 2004 ISO? Maybe you can try with your VM if not done already .
