I wonder whether the below is possible. Vainly checked out "WAU Manager" (Windows Automatic Updates Manager) at carifred.com/wau_manager/ and "ShutdownWithUpdates" at dennisbabkin.com/shutdownwithupdates/
Maybe I am overlooking a feature though.
1) Updates are downloaded automatically - without installing
2) At the end of the day I select shut down and install updates and shut off my monitor
3) Go away
4) Windows installs the updates
4.a.) If necessary restarts the PC
4.b. if there are any other updates to install, install those
5) restarts the PC again and/or shutdown
All this unattended, so when I restart the PC, all updates have been installed.
Q: Is this possible?
Right now, I have always been updating manually (Check for updates). Automatic download, etc. disabled.
