Local Group Policy Editor is miss on my laptop , unable find it through search and nothing file on it. Where nor How do I get it for Local Group Policy Editor file download ?

Unfortunately, the Local Group Policy Editor (gpedit.msc) is not available in the Windows 10 Home edition.
There are methods out there that will add it to the Home edition, but it's pointless to do so since none of the policies set in it will actually get applied.
If you like, you can set group policies via Registry Editor in the Home edition instead.

My grandkids use one of my elderly laptops. It was reset less than a week ago using "Fast Start" in Win Defender.
When I run "gpedit.msc", I get the "Can't find" message.

Quick question - is it possible to directly edit the items in local group policy via powershell (or other automatic methods)?
Apologies if there is already a topic with this info on the forum, I ran a quick search but did not find anything, unless I'm using wrong keywords.
