    How to Turn On or Off Push Notifications from TenForums.com

    If you like, you can turn on to receive browser push notifications from us (www.tenforums.com) on your desktop to alert you when a new Windows Update or Windows 10 build has been released.

    When you click/tap on the push notification on your desktop, it will take you to the web page source here.

    This tutorial will show you how to turn on or off browser push notifications from us (www.tenforums.com) for your account or as a guest.

    Currently only Google Chrome and Mozilla Firefox is supported to receive push notifications.


     CONTENTS:

    • Option One: To Turn On or Off Subscribing to Push Notifications in Your User CP
    • Option Two: To Turn On or Off Subscribing to Push Notifications from Alert Button

    To Turn On or Off Subscribing to Push Notifications in Your User CP

    1. While logged in to your account here at tenfourms.com, open your User CP, and click/tap on the General Settings link. (see screenshot below)

    2. Scroll down to the bottom of the Messaging & Notification section, and turn On or Off Forum Alerts for what you want. (see screenshot below)

    3. Scroll down to the bottom of the page, and click/tap on the Save Changes button to apply. (see screenshot below)

    1. Hover over the red Alert button towards the bottom right corner of the webpage here at www.tenforums.com. (see screenshots below)

    2. You will now see You're subscribed to notifications (on) or Subscribe to notifications (off) for your current setting. Click/tap on the red Alert button to manage site notifications. (see screenshots below)

    3. Click/tap on the Unsubscribe (turn off) or Subscribe (turn on) option that is available if this is what you wanted to do. (see screenshots below)
