    Steve,

Selecting the "Windows" theme below will be for the default theme in Windows 10.

I managed to display white text on the Taskbar using the Aerolite Theme by setting the Taskbar options in Classic Shell - see below.

I would also like to have a different colour for the Inactive Windows but the Aerolite Theme doesn't seem to allow this for some reason.

Yeah, that's a limitation of Aerolite.

I had the problem of black text for the Notification Area Time text.

I found 3 ways to fix it:

    1) Don't use Small taskbar buttons
    2) Use the Default Windows Aero theme
    3) Tweak the Classic Start Menu Taskbar text color

White Tray Text Not Working For Me

My Windows 10 Pro is currently Version 1607 (OS Build 14393.1066). I used Shawn Brink's Aero_Lite_(white-text)_theme for All Users, but my Time/Date stamp (Taskbar Tray) stubbornly remained black. Do I have a version mismatch problem with Shawn's examples, or is there some other way to force this text to white?

    Hello @RetiredEngineer, :)

Please go ahead and post a screenshot showing what you are seeing instead to see if anything may stand out. Include a screenshot of your theme and color settings as well.

    Hello Makio,

You can simply select a different theme to use, then delete this one afterwards at the location mentioned in the blue note box.

I did that but when I go to my open file dialog box, the files are still doing what Aero Lite theme did which is not highlight what I select and also it shows the Aero Lite general theme in it.

Please go ahead and post a screenshot showing the dialog box with the Aero Lite general theme in it to see what may be happening.

In addition, post a screenshot showing your theme settings, and the location from the blue note box to help verify the theme has been removed from these locations.
