    UPDATE:

I made a System Image and ran Dism /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth /Source /LimitAccess from the original uncustomised ISO. It took about 4 minutes and completed successfully!

I had a quick look and it seems OK. I will investigate further at some stage.

One interesting thing. When I ran Dism /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth previously, prior to using the original ISO, I got the error . .. .

Deployment Image Servicing and Management tool
    Version: 10.0.18362.1

    Image Version: 10.0.18363.418

    [==========================100.0%==========================]
    Error: 0x800f081f

The source files could not be found.
Use the "Source" option to specify the location of the files that are required to restore the feature. For more information on specifying a source location, see http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?LinkId=243077.

The DISM log file can be found at C:\Windows\Logs\DISM\dism.log
After using the source wim, I ran the above again and the online RestoreHealth worked first time.

I have now re-imaged the OS back and I will investigate more in the week!

Are you talking about the link in the Tutorial here? . . .

OPTION ONE: To Run "DISM /Cleanup-Image" Tool in Command Prompt.
Part 6. To Use DISM /RestoreHealth /Source:wim Command.

How to See Full Details about a Windows 10 ISO file

    I hope this helps!

    DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth /Source:C:\RepairSource\Windows /LimitAccess
    Dism /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth /Source:esd:E:\Sources\Install.esd:1 /limitaccess

    In the above command: esd:1

The 1 corresponds to Windows home.

    I'm looking for:
    a) a link in the tutorial for the index for various windows editions
    b) commands to run to find the windows editions
    c) whether everything is the same when troubleshooting 8.1 as compared to 10

    Hello mate,

You can use the method in the tutorial below to find the edition index numbers for an ISO file or USB.

See Full Details about a Windows 10 ISO file or USB

Everything appears to be the same between 8.1 and 10 on this with DISM.

    Greets,

    Thanks for the nice Tutorial!

To attract your kind attention that the 'Elevated Command Prompt' in OPTION 1 is taking somewhere else.

    Thanks & Regards. ...

    Hi All

    Running win10 Pro 20H2
Did "Dism /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth" today and it completed with success, but then I realised that I was not connected to the internet?
    How is this possible?

    Hello Finhobbyist,

The /RestoreHealth switch would only require the Internet connect to perform repair operations automatically using Windows Update as the source..

Since you didn't have anything to repair, it was able to successfully finish running.
