    Hello Feuer,

Bookmarks in Google Chrome are stored in the file below. I suppose you could use a BAT file to copy it to backup and restore.

    %LocalAppData%\Google\Chrome\User Data\Default\Bookmarks

i copied the bookmark file to desktop and changed its extension to .html, i opened it, i saw that like in first picture,
i also exported my bookmarks to an html file, same in this tutorial, i saw that when i open in chrome browser

i controlled that yep all my bookmarks in this file,
but is there no way to do it like "export to html file" with bat,vbs or powershell?

if it is no way, i can save this file for backing up, do i need any other file?

Exporting and importing with an HTML is the recommended method since the HTML file can be imported to any browser.

If you manually export using the Bookmarks file at the path I posted above, then it's just a copy and replace to restore. Of course, it's only good with Chrome.

One option would be to use the Copy command in your .bat file like below to copy the Bookmarks file to your desktop.

    Copy <source> <destination path>

    (Export)
    copy "%LocalAppData%\Google\Chrome\User Data\Default\Bookmarks" "%UserProfile%\Desktop"

    (Import)
    copy "%UserProfile%\Desktop\Bookmarks" "%LocalAppData%\Google\Chrome\User Data\Default"

Looks like you can do the HTML export via a PowerShell script:

    Export Chrome Bookmarks as HTML

(If you really want to automate the export, but with the option to import to a different browser.)
