Windows 10 S is no longer available as a SKU from 1803.
odd...
applocker is very much available on my win 10 pro ..
I'm still confused LOL
First question: I'm looking at genuine Windows 10 ISO images and I found out about business and consumer editions so which one to choose?
Second question: my second hand laptop bought from a business came with Windows 10 Pro, it was installed by the business but I had to setup it myself by going through several blue pages where Microsoft ask questions like username, security, country, privacy, wireless, pin code etc. etc., then when finally Windows started it showed a message saying it recognized the license key and so it was activated.
The question is, what Windows version is this one, business or consumer?
I'm asking because I want to create a backup installation media to use in case of an emergency (like virus attack) so which ISO image should I download, the business or the consumer one?
You should download the ISO file directly from Microsoft:
https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/soft...d/windows10ISO
That ISO will have the Windows 10 Pro edition you need.
Windows Key + R, type winver to get the Edition, Version and Build information. The question is, what Windows version is this one, business or consumer?
There's 4 Editions, Home, Pro, Enterprise and Education.

The .iso downloaded from Microsoft will install either the Home or Pro version depending upon the key that is included on the motherboard for OEM [started with Windows 8] or the Product Key for the retail purchase.
I've changed Win8/8.1 and Win10 from Home to Pro by entering an unused Pro key in System, no real advantage in changing from Pro to Home.
I'll download the ISO image from within an Android environment to avoid going through the creating the installation media steps.

Thanks for that.
So should I assume that I shouldn't care if an ISO image is for business or consumer right? There's 4 Editions, Home, Pro, Enterprise and Education.
Do you know how the Education version behaves and if there is any issue when playing games or doing any other tasks compared to the Pro version?
Only choices are whether you want the x64/64-bit or x86/32-bit version or both in the same file. Both will be a larger file and not needed unless working on both types computers. The key process will determine whether Home or Pro is installed. I've no direct experience with Enterprise or Education but have read the targets are more for organizations than individuals or businesses that have a large amount of users.
