    Hello George,

The .bat file only automatically changes the manufacturer and model values in the tutorial.

You can delete these values like in the tutorial to restore it back to default.
    Right.
    Thanks for your quick response!

    Thanks for the info

I was wondering if it's possible to enter custom data, or it just limited to the predefined fields?

For instance to add info for "Support Email" to simply display an email address (non-clickable, just plain text). The option to add the "mailto" link in the "Website" registry string works, but is not suitable for our needs. The issue is that we don't use a mail application (we use gmail in browser), and the 'mailto' link tries to open the default mail client.

    Thanks!

    Hello zyraxes,

Could you use a link to your gmail page instead?

    Something like: https://mail.google.com\mail\<your gmail here>

Thank you. The link does open Gmail but it it won't open the compose window for some reason.

What did work for me is entering the "mailto:email@example.com" in the registry string, and then changing the default email app in windows settings to Chrome.

Now, clicking on the "Online Support" link will open gmail and a compose window with the mail address pre-filled.

Too bad MS doesn't allow custom fields. While this workaround kind of works for my needs, it still displays the "Website: Online support" info which is not entirely accurate as I'm using it as a simple mailto link.

    Thanks again
