Is that something they just changed with redstone 3? Got rid of the global toggle?

I looked in the registry and auto enable is set to 0 fwiw.

More concerned with whether the slider is still supposed to be there or not and if not why/how to fix.

    Thank you for your reply!

    Hello Klepp,

It appears that there's no longer an on/off toggle for Game Mode in Settings (option 1) anymore in Windows 10 Fall Creators Update version 1709.

You can still use the other options though.

Hello Marre, and welcome to Ten Forums. :)

Option 1 is no longer available starting with Windows 10 build 15019 as noted in it.

The Game bar in Option 3 and 4 will only be available if you have "Record game clips, screenshots, and broadcast using Game bar" turned on in Settings->Game bar.

You can still use Option 2 to turn Game Mode on/off though.

Disable support for Game Mode (credit goes to leaks98 on MDL Forum)
    Code:
    reg add "HKCU\Software\Microsoft\GameBar" /v "AutoGameModeEnabled" /t REG_DWORD /d "0" /f

That's already here as Option 2.

For me, in Windows 10 1709 Game Mode doesn't even work. When i press the Win key + G nothing happens.

I still get Broadcast DVR server (bcastdvr.exe) running on task manager though.

I had the same reaction at first, but it is "AutoGameModeEnabled", not "AllowAutoGameMode".
The result is quite noticeable: https://s1.postimg.org/2wgl8t7ytr/ca...017_222703.jpg

Just going to test, if GameBarPresenceWriter.exe runs or not, once it is disabled.

EDIT: It does, so it still has to be removed https://s1.postimg.org/7ynpl26cfz/ca...017_223311.jpg
