I thought GUID partitions had NTFS filing systems. Any way to fix this would reformatting and losing all data? And why does the Admin acct recognize the two GUID partitioned drives but not the user's?

Oops. Correction. Drives E and J are in one large 3TB drive, not 5. They are GUID formatted. The other drive inside the RAID enclosure is a MBR formatted disc. It's 1 TB, Drive K.
What does it show as the file system (ex: NTFS) in Disk Management for the drives?

I'd say go ahead and create a new thread for this issue since it's unrelated to this tutorial. This way you can get better help there, and keep this tutorial on topic.

You might include screenshots showing what you're seeing for this drive comparing between the admin and the other user that doesn't see it to see if anything may stand out.

This appears to no longer be valid in 22H2

I need to change location for backup but nowhere can I locate any way to do that. When I try this it just starts the backup to the prior location with no option to choose a new drive.

    Is there a newer tutorial?

    Hello Paul,

Do you see a Change settings link link in step 2?

If not, then go ahead and post a screenshot of what you see instead.

The backup tries to backup to an external drive (G) that is not present but I am not given any option to change destination. This is the same issue on the other Win 10 Machine as well. Both are V 22H2

It depends on if you want to continue using "File History" or use " Backup and Restore (Windows 7)" instead.

The tutorial below can show you how to change the drive used for File History.

Select Drive for File History in Windows 10

If you want to use " Backup and Restore (Windows 7)" instead, then you can turn off File History, and then set up " Backup and Restore (Windows 7)" with the drive you want.
