I have contacted Microsoft's Malware Protection Center reporting this as false possible, giving all details and links. Usually they check and handle these matters quite fast.

I will post when getting a reply from them.

I have build 15061 and scanned all versions of UUPtoISO setup and installed files, no threats found here.

It might be hit 'n miss. I've done several, both physical and VM, and never had Defender bark at it.

This is strange. In my 15061 test virtual machines, Finnish, Swedish, German and UK English PRO give the false positive. In US English 15061 PRO no issues.

Also, regardless of the language, no other builds flag it with same Defender definitions.

Anyway, I think it's important to get it white flagged. Waiting Malware protection Center to reply.

This issue is only when UUPtoISO or its installer is used in 15061, and even then not always.

Interesting! I have EN-US Pro 15061 and as you said, no issues. Must be something with the locale...

That's exactly what I used. But only have en-us here, as you posted.

Anyway, however limited number of users is affected I have to take care of this, that's why I posted the warning and submitted sample to Microsoft Malware Protection Center.

Yes, thanks for taking action on this.

...by the way, latest (v2.2.1.0) of UUPtoISO worked great for me for current build (15061). Only small glitch is that it converts some extra language specific packages to ESD, which is not needed for a pure ISO. But we talked about this already, and we will fix this minor glitch soon. Only multilingual Windows users are affected.

The highlighted part tells that you have false UUP source or files missing in UUP folder. Are you trying to do this from Windows.old?
