UUP to ISO - Create Bootable ISO from Windows 10 Build Upgrade Files

Thanks Kari for the explanation. Much Appreciated!
Noticed that after booting from 15055 ISO there is no "Repair Your Computer" link.
    Should there be?
    True.

There's nothing I can do for this, the decrypter script does as good work as possible but due the nature of UUP upgrade and method used to create ISO from upgrade files, the repair option is be missing in selfmade ISO images.

The difference is in how the boot.wim and install.wim are layed out. Our self made ISO has only one "image" in each, while the official ISO has 2 "images" contained in each.

The official boot.wim contains Microsoft Windows PE at index 1 and Microsoft Windows Setup at index 2.
The official install.wim contains full Windows (Pro, Home or whatever edition you have) at index 1 and a Core version at index 2, which I suspect is for the repair option (no GUI).
I was thinking that it can't be true what I said earlier, that there's nothing I can do for this missing repair option. Two coffees, a walk in nearby beautiful park, two whiskies, and suddenly I realized I've once again had one of those Darwin Awards moments: I've already written a tutorial about how to fix this! And it's really easy.

OK, those who want to have Repair this computer option available at boot in self made ISO, here's what to do:

1.) Run UUPtoISO, select option 2 - Create install.wim instead of option 1 - Create ISO:
UUP to ISO - Create Bootable ISO from Windows 10 Build Upgrade Files-image.png

If you have already created an ISO with UUPtoISO, there's no need to create a separate install.wim file; your ISO already contains it in Sources folder, use it in next step.

2.) When install.wim file has been created, make ISO as told in Part Five in this tutorial (link takes you directly to Part Five): Create Windows 10 ISO image from Existing Installation

That's it. Step 2 above takes a few minutes resulting an "official self made" Insider ISO with Repair this computer option.

Geeks, build 15058 will be released later today. I hope many of you will test the current version of UUPtoISO (see below quote), and report about possible issues.

OK "beta testers", please test and give feedback. Download latest version: UUPtoISOSetup.exe

File is digitally signed, no Windows Smart Screen complaints. To keep track and make things a bit easier I started versioning this, the one downloadable now is version 2.2.

    Changes:
    • UUPtoISO can be installed anywhere you want to
    • Installation and Start Menu folders can be named as you wish
    • Tool is now an application (.exe) allowing a Start Menu launcher and desktop shortcut being created when installing, allowing pinning a Start tile, and allowing uninstall normally from Settings > Apps or Programs and Features
    • No copying or moving files anymore, you can make ISO simply by pointing UUPtoISO to UUP folder in C:\Windows\SoftwareDistribution\Download before preforming the upgrade, or the same folder in Windows.old if you have already upgraded

If you decide to test please read very short and simple Quick Start.pdf first, it can be found in UUPtoISO folder after installation. Here's the PDF in case you want to read it before downloading and installing: Attachment 124900

    All feedback welcome.

    @Kari, in this step:

    3. Copy UUP upgrade folder path to clipboard. Folder can be found under C:\Windows\SoftwareDistribution\Download -- OR -- If you have already upgraded, the folder is located under C:\Windows.old\Windows\SoftwareDistribution\Download

would it be helpful to mention how to easily get the folder path?

Shift+right click on the folder after search ext:esd, open file location. Copy as Path. Paste it and remove the leading and trailing ["] before pressing enter.

I thought that everyone knows how to copy the path, simply right click File Explorer's addressbar and select Copy?

Quote from ESD to ISO tutorial thread, also the ESD method is working again:

    PLEASE NOTICE:

The tool and the method in this tutorial both work without issues with ESD file of the latest Insider Build 15058 released earlier today.
