I am quite sure the main reason for this was to get all SP3 users also to upgrade. There was some boot loop issues in 16291 that they fixed in 16294. I doubt there is much else of a difference between the 2, except for some minor updated code. :)

Pretty sure 16294 was released urgently to fix extremely embarrasing Surface Pro failure to start bug. This was released way after normal COB. These guys were obviously under "you do not go home until this is fixed" orders.

I am going to upgrade my pc by installing an SSD. Would this tutorial be a good guide to install Windows 10 on to the new SSD or should i do a Clean Install or should I clone my current HDD and then copy the image to the SSD?

    Thanks,

It's just for making ISO, for cloning and backups look at Macrium Reflect thread.
Best way would be to do clean install on new SSD but clone/backup restore only if new SSD is about same size as total used in old disk or larger and not smaller otherwise it gets complicated.

Have just had a download of Build 16296, and once again UUP to ISO worked perfectly.
Build 16296 has a watermark again, so not yet final build.

As regards build 16294, there were two or three cycles of downloading & installing before I could view the magic phrase"Restart now" at which point I modified the restart options to schedule a restart at 6.30 p.m. the next day, giving me ample time to create the iso from UUP files. The iso has been created and now I have pressed the "Restart now" button to start the upgrade.
    Cheers.

A correction. It should be read as build 16296 & not build 16294.Sorry for the error.
