Well I created a 16179 iso using latest uupto iso and it seemed to work fine.

However, when I went to use it for a clean install, it booted to screen asking for keyboard, and I select uk (as normal), and then it booted to the windows recovery screen! Obviously something has gone wrong!

The x86 iso of build 16179 created using uup to iso method was successful in upgrading build 15063 to 16179. However a clean install with the above iso tells a different story. All went well until I reached welcome stage of the installation at which point the system said" Something went wrong" and offered me the option either to retry or skip. On tapping the skip option the installation goes on merrily until the system asked me whether I wanted to save files in One drive. Woe betide if you answer yes because then the system will hang with the message"Just a moment". If however you answer no then the system will complete the installation and present you with the desktop. Others experience may differ but this is what I went through.

The uup to iso software took its own sweet time but I was finally able to create an x86 iso of build 16184 of size 2.87 GB. Now the system is busy upgrading from 16179 to 16184.

Correct. I made it before restart, but if you want to make it after, then paste this folder path in UUP2ISO:

    C:\Windows.old\WINDOWS\SoftwareDistribution\Download\6a89c7d0f5353946f49af51f0cc702cc

Well my system failed to upgrade to build 16184 & restored my system back to build 16179. However in the process it swallowed up all the esd files in Software Distribution/download folder. Fortunately since I had previously created an iso for build 16184 I am now using that to upgrade to 16184. Let us see what happens.

Just learned how and created both a 16184 ISO and Wim. Went as smooth and sweet as silk chocolate.

Great job creating all this, geeks.
