Version 2.2 of the UUPtoISO application installed and converted 15055 Pro EN-US like a charm. No complaints here. ( Except now I can not see the source code anymore ;-) )

    Great job!
    Good to know it's working!

Windows 10 taking a good care...

    Hi everyone,

You guys may know but I didn't...

I copied the UUPs file to C:\Windows\SoftwareDistribution\Download\HexFolder because I wanted to do the test from there "with the new UUPtoISO" but, I had to stop for a moment and when I came back to execute the program the folder was clean, no files whatsoever.

Sounds like Windows 10 taking a good care of this folder. At least for me, I guess I'll have to test from another location.

And not forgetting to say "Thank You Kari plus all the others whom has been working very hard to make it work".

My Test - uup upgrade on Slow Ring from 15025 Home to 15048 Home
Did it twice, once with old tool and once with new tool - see final results below.
Slight differences in sizes - no idea if that is significant but ran without any issues - new tool is cool!
Next job is to clean install iso into a vm to test it
    Will report back tomorrow.

Soon Using On Multiple Installations .

UUP to ISO - Create Bootable ISO from Windows 10 Build Upgrade Files-screencap-2017-03-13-22.00.40.jpg

For being such a tiny little icon, it enforces a HUGE time saver in creating the UUPtoISO file.

Great job and thanks to all, for sharing your Creators Edition for this tool!

@Kari, run your tutorial into print! Top notch.

I doubt if other geeks understand that but as far as I am concerned, that's cool :)

I thought some of you geeks might like to pin it to Start, it would have looked stupid if left just with default icon.

OK "beta testers", please test and give feedback. Download latest version: UUPtoISOSetup.exe

File is digitally signed, no Windows Smart Screen complaints. To keep track and make things a bit easier I started versioning this, the one downloadable now is version 2.2.

    Changes:
    • UUPtoISO can be installed anywhere you want to
    • Installation and Start Menu folders can be named as you wish
    • Tool is now an application (.exe) allowing a Start Menu launcher and desktop shortcut being created when installing, allowing pinning a Start tile, and allowing uninstall normally from Settings > Apps or Programs and Features
    • No copying or moving files anymore, you can make ISO simply by pointing UUPtoISO to UUP folder in C:\Windows\SoftwareDistribution\Download before preforming the upgrade, or the same folder in Windows.old if you have already upgraded

If you decide to test please read very short and simple Quick Start.pdf first, it can be found in UUPtoISO folder after installation. Here's the PDF in case you want to read it before downloading and installing: Attachment 124900

    All feedback welcome.

That was a Darwin Award moment!

Posting the app for you guys to test, sharing a download link, then removing the app from my OneDrive and start editing the code. Not even remotely thinking that for my download link to work, it's better if the downloadable object exists :)
Sorry, that type of a mistake does not qualify you as a person who needs to be taken 'Out of the gene pool: dead or sterile.'

That comment by Cereberus was an Insider joke (not Windows Insider), I am quite convinced not many geeks get it. Nothing to do with future installs and ISO images
