But I hope the UUP download on next releases will be the ones not working using this method, as that means MS has succeeded in their goal of making the DL sizes smaller. 500-600MB vs 2.3-2.7GB. :-D

I managed to perform my 1st UUPtoISO cycle with my new updating /15046 to /15048 using your tutorial.I had a little puzzling moment using the steps in your tutorial, hope you don't mind me sharing it with you.
- at step 1.2) you extract the UUPtoISO.zip to> E:\Users\Kari\Downloads
- at step 2.5) You copy the contents of 2.4) <from This PC > Local Disk [c:] > Windows > SoftwareDistribution > Download to> This PC > Desktop > UUptoISO
The last step got me confused, as you didn't mention the extraction of the UPPtoISO.zip to the Desktop. So I copied all contents to> my This PC > Downloads > UUPtoISO > UUPs (a later added folder, because the UUptoISO.cmd was not working for me)
Or is the scripting in the UUPtoISO.cmd perhaps based on your folder This PC > Desktop > UUPtoISO allready to be present?
Well the small puzzling aside, at least I've managed to create my first Windows 10 IP UUPtoISO file, residing save-and-sound on my NAS now.
Tomorrow I'll have a shot at the clean install of this ISO.

Since Vista, over 10 years now I have never had any user profiles on drive C: , I always relocate the complete Users folder to another drive. In this computer the Users folder, all user profiles and all user folders are on drive E:. It means that my This PC > Desktop refers to E:\Users\Kari\Desktop and E.\Users\Public\Desktop folders, This PC > Downloads to E:\Users\Kari\Downloads folder.Hi Kari,

I find it silly and not very clever NOT to relocate Users folder. I do it always on every machine simply to save space on system drive and separate OS and user data.
I can't remember why I extracted the ZIP archive to Downloads then moved it to Desktop. Anyway, it's completely irrelevant. A mini tutorial:
- Download ZIP
- Extract it wherever you want to
- Copy UUP files to UUPtoISO\UUPs folder, wherever it might be
- Run UUPtoISO
That's it.

Hi is there any fix yet for this issue? I've seen some people claim to have it fixed. Can you all tell me what to do, step by step? Or is it really really complicated?

Also, if you look up a few posts, slicendice did work out how to get past the error you mentioned.
OK, @Kari said this, so that should work or not... have me get out of the install process, and download the new version?
If the upgrade has been downloaded but you have not started the upgrade process yet (not clicked Restart now), you can remove the UUP upgrade files from your PC using Disk Clean-Up, edit registry to disable UUP, restart and let your PC download ESD upgrade instead. Instructions in this post.
