    Hi Don,
I did in fact realize what I was doing wrong, after I created a new folder ( C:UUPDump ) and extracted to that folder the operation completed normally. Now all I need to do is perform a backup of the current state of my drive that includes the file's that I want to save and then install the iso file on my computer. I know there's a utility that lets you build your own disc, but I've never tried using it. I just had an idea, I could create a new partition on my hard drive and install the iso to that new partition. Please Stay Safe !!

If you want to dual boot to that new partition, one way is to just mount the ISO file in Windows. Run \sources\setup.exe instead of the one at root of the ISO. Use Custom install and install to the new partition. You will end up with a dual boot setup, with the new install as default. You can change the default to what you want at the new boot menu that appears at power up.

    Hi,
I will be very grateful if someone can share Windows Insider Preview Fast ring build 19603.100. This was the best build for my machine. Unfortunately I didn't know how to make iso form downloaded files until I came across this thread.

As I had registered for Insider Program Fast ring an update was installed and it went up to build 19608.100. This is the worst build I ever encountered on my machine. I am experiencing the worst lag with latest build. I reset my machine in a hope to fix the lag but no good.

I again request if there is an iso available for build 19603.100. Please share it with me. Thx

Hi and welcome to W10F. UUP to ISO doesn't work any more since MS changed the way updates are done. What you need now is UUP Dump method UUP Dump downloader new beta

    Just go to UUP dump

You can find any recent Insider or public build there. Once you step through the configuration options, you will download a small zip file. The fastest option is to just select the one Windows Edition (Pro, Home, etc.) that you need.

Unzip that small zip file to a folder near the root of a disk. I use C:\ISO. You will see one file with a .CMD file type. Right-click that file and select Run as Administrator. Once it is done, you will have the ISO that you want sitting in the folder that you ran it from.

Note that on build 19608 and a couple of earlier builds, you cannot mount an ISO file that is over 4 GB in size, if the ISO file is on a SATA disk (most internal hard drives). You have to move the file to a USB, or PCIe connected disk to mount it.

I have never had any issues in mounting even my own custom Windows 10 ISO images which can be close to 20 GB, in any version of Windows Insider Preview.

I just mounted an over 4 GB build 19608.1006 ISO for offline servicing on Windows 10 PRO 19608.1006. Absolutely no issues. I would like to see some documentation / information about that bug / error.

    @Kari
Here is a thread that I have going on it at Microsoft Community Forums. As long as I mount an over 4 GB ISO that resides on my NVMe SSD, or if I copy the whole .ISO file as-is to an external USB, it mounts instantly, as usual. If I try to mount an ISO that resides on my internal SATA disk, it hangs Explorer for a long time and is almost unusable. This has been replicated by users in various countries now. Some had to use the power button to get out of the freeze, although if you wait long enough (5 minutes) you might be able to unmount the ISO. It works fine on earlier Insider builds, such as build 19041 running on the same computer. ISO files smaller than 4 GB are fine, no matter where they reside, on build 19608.

On many computers that do not use the Microsoft Standard SATA AHCI Controller driver, it appears to work normally, even with build 19608. I tried replacing the driver with one specifically for my Intel(R) C600 series chipset SATA AHCI Controller, but that did not resolve it for me.

One other thing, if using a USB Thumb drive be aware the factory thing is they are FAT32 which in Windows has a single file size limit of 4GB + or -1 Byte but reformatting as exFAT is quite good, gets around that issue.

Whenever I try to create an ISO, I get this error. How can I fix it?

Enter / Paste the path to UUP files directory

    D:\Users\perez\Downloads\uup\19041.21\es-es\arm64

Having an ARM processor is very uncommon. Are you sure that you should not be using AMD64 in your PATH?

    Code:
    D:\Users\perez\Downloads\uup\19041.21\es-es\AMD64
Also, 19041.21 includes only an older version of the Cumulative Update. You could use UUP Dump to download the UUP files for 19041.572 instead.
