I saw no reasons to boot to advanced startup options. I simply run extended system cleanup, selecting absolutely everything in prompt after entering the command as told in Brink's tutorial:
cmd.exe /c Cleanmgr /sageset:65535 & Cleanmgr /sagerun:65535
Rebooted and started from scratch. Same errors.
Hi,
UUP->ISO works just fine for me.
Why this need for the mini-server ? I admit not having read the entire tut though.
Cheers,
Actually, that is an incomplete answer.
Mini server allows you to select the exact architecture, language and edition you want to download. WU will only download what is appropriate for your current install / hardware.
But, in addition to that, Miniserver also allows you to download multiple editions, and multiple languages, all for a single architecture, if you so desire.
For example, once I left the language setting alone and it downloaded all *all* languages - taking around 75 GB.
But what I do now is download single language but multiple editions (but not multi-arch), which UUP2ISO is able to recognize, so that the last several .ISOs that I have made have been AIO single-arch single-language .ISOs.
its a lot faster than making an iso from esd files that update downloads
AIO 17618 .ISO made successfully using UUPDUMP Miniserver + UUp2ISO.
Curiously, the first time I started UUP2ISO after completing the dump I got a GSOD. Took a picture, rebooted, and started UUP2ISO again - no issues.
I suspect a driver was in the middle of being installed / reinstalled / updated, but I'll never know now.
