Same happened to me, couldn't make ISO but it updated just fine. Still have windows.old so I'll try from there.

There seems to be some issues with this upgrade. My upgrade fails all the time, can't even create ISO from upgrade files downloaded with UUP Dump.

Updated ok but can't make ISO from even windows.old.using UUP to ISO, something about not finding something in WIM so it could not complete ISO compilation. Gonna try with UUP Dump next.

That don't work at the moment. Give it a few days to let UUP Dump geeks to do necessary updates first.

There must be something going on with the update itself. At least one of my VMs could not upgrade, just trying the other one.

UPDATE: Nope, no go. Got GSOD on the other VM as well!

Same here. Laptop (W10 PRO build 17083 x64 EN-GB) has now downloaded upgrade three times, failing at restart phase almost immediately every time. Creating ISO fails even when the problematic SSH CAB file is added. Weird thing is, after restart it asks about which boot device I would like to use (standard boot media selection menu I normally get hitting ESC at boot).

When back on desktop, WU says I'm up to date. Clicking Check for updates then starts the process from beginning.

In Hyper-V, all various language versions and editions fail to upgrade.

ISO created successfully from WU downloaded files.

During upgrade in VM I get SYSTEM_THREAD_EXCEPTION right at first reboot. Restarting my host now and trying again...

Update from 17083 to 17093 went fine and created ISO from Windows.old.

    No issues so far.

The last 2 or 3 upgrades I have done, UUP failed to create the ISO unless you waited until it had installed and said ready to Reboot. Then run the UUP and it worked perfect. I haven't upgraded this last one yet.

That is exactly what the instructions says you should do. :)
