    Hello LVTHER,

I did some testing on my system, and was able to keep Night Light turned on when my monitors turned off and came back on.

I had the "Set hours" for the night light schedule set with a wide time range so night light will stay on.

If you haven't already, you might test to see if you see the same.

i dont have it on a schedule, its set to be on permanently. when the feature first came out i had it set up the way you recommended, but it did the same thing.

edit: ill give the scheduled setup another try.

I want it to be on 24 hours a day, but it doesn't work as I had hoped either.

However........I set the schedule for Night Light to be on 23 hours and 45 minutes a day.

    That works fine.

I just set the off 15 minutes to be at some time of day that I'm rarely using the PC.

this is what i did and it would still turn itself off as i stated earlier. just wish there was a registry edit that would force it to be on permanetly.

Night Light requires location to be on in Windows - I'm not a fan of that, so prefer to use f.lux which I've been using for years without having to turn location on.

    Hello Steve,

I have location completely turned off, and Night Light still works for me in Windows 10 Pro for Workstations build 21313.

    Hello Brink,
Maybe it's Pro vs Home thing.

It shouldn't matter for this setting. I'm thinking possibly some OEM or graphics software that could be interfering??

More details, I can turn on NL, but In yellow "Turn on Location service to schedule night light at sunset". flux will let you enter you location without turning on location and it also makes automatic adjustments for sunset, sunrise, daylight saving time, time of year, etc.

Yeah, just the sunset setting needs location to be turned on luckily. All the other Night Light settings don't require location.
