I have an nvidia card (970) using the latest drivers, and i think that may be the issue.
one of the posters here stated that, the monitor using intel graphics doesnt turn off unlike the one attached to the graphics card.
trying this solution that i found on MS answers:
- Open Device Manager
- Under Monitors, right click the active "PnP-Monitor (Standard)", click "Update Driver"
- Click "Browse my computer for driver software"
- Click "Let me pick from a list of available drivers on my computer"
- Choose "Generic PnP Monitor"
- Finish the dialog, sign out, and sign back in. Should be fixed.
