    Well, i decided to run a few tests and figured it out. Why Microsoft doesn't provide such information in the first place is beyond me.
    Instead of doing a clean install, i first did an upgrade from 1809 to 1909 which translated my 3000K temperature into 67% strength. For reference, a clean install defaults to 48% which is 4000K.

    After some trial and error i was able to find the remaining values. I will leave them below.
    Code:
    1200K = 100%
    1250K = 100%
    1300K = 99%
    1350K = 98%

    6350K = 3%
    6400K = 2%
    6450K = 1%
    6500K = 0%

    Notes:

    These K values share the same %:

    1200K & 1250K
    2100K & 2150K
    3850K & 3900K
    4700K & 4750K
    5600K & 5650K

    I used this script to make it easier to switch between temperatures instead of doing it manually every time with the arrow keys.

    Maybe someone will find this helpful

    Thank you @s0urce. I have added the color temperatures to the tutorial for those that would like to know this compared to the strength percentage level.

    Is there a way you can toggle the night light btn on/off via a shortkey, this ms-settings:nightlight thing just takes you to a setting page for u to manually turn it on/off..., im lookin for sth quicker, just the toggle on/off button

    Hello bucke,

    I'm not aware of a direct way to toggle Night Light on and off.

    Hello ClassicD, :)

    Sometimes updating your graphics driver to the latest version helps.

    If that doesn't help, then you might see if downloading and merging the .reg file below to recover Night Light Default data may.

    hello @Brink
    Are these reg entites confirmed for the night light settings? If I export (backup) them in a reg file, then that can be use for implimenting the settings for night light after clean installation, right?

    In Win10 v2004, these entities
    $$windows.data.bluelightreduction.bluelightreductionstate
    $$windows.data.bluelightreduction.bluelightreductionstate\Current
    $$windows.data.bluelightreduction.settings
    &
    $$windows.data.bluelightreduction.settings\Current

    these ain't located under this reg path
    HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\CloudStore\Store\Cache\DefaultAccount

    rather, these entities are under

    HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\CloudStore\Store\DefaultAccount\Cloud

    Just checked, thought to share with you to edit this OP.

    It looks like is uses the two registry paths below now instead. A restart of the computer will most likely be needed to apply any changes.

    HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\CloudStore\Store\DefaultAccount\Current\default$windows.data.bluelightreduction.bluelightreductionstate

    HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\CloudStore\Store\DefaultAccount\Current\default$windows.data.bluelightreduction.settings

    before making a new thread i wanted seek help here first.

    i love night light, but id doesnt seem to work well and want to know if there was some kind of regedit or batch i can run so i stays on permanently until (for whatever reason) i need it off.

    right now, i have my monitors to sleep after 5mins - but if im at my desktop and wake it up right after the monitors go off, when they come back on, night light is off. it also flashes sometimes when i launch or install certain applications (i cannot recall which ones at this time.)

    Hello LVTHER,

    I did some testing on my system, and was able to keep Night Light turned on when my monitors turned off and came back on.

    I had the "Set hours" for the night light schedule set with a wide time range so night light will stay on.

    If you haven't already, you might test to see if you see the same.
