    Please help.
I'm following the instructions, but when I copy the files containing all my notes (from a different account) and I open stick notes and log in with a different account the old notes appear for a few seconds (in the notes list view) and then all of them disappear. I tried switching the internet off once and the notes will remain in the Sticky Notes window, I can open them and edit them, but as soon as I turn the internet back on and Sticky Notes does some kind of a background sync everything disappears.
It seems that my target account discards all the notes as not associated to that account (or created in a wrong way) and removes them.
There must be a setting somewhere in the setting or note files which determins which account they were created by.

Does anyone have any idea how to make Sticky Notes accept the imported notes?

    Hello jarekw, and welcome.

Just to confirm, did you backup the plum.sqlite file first, then sign out of the old account, sign in to the new account, close Sticky Notes, then restore the plum.sqlite file?

Well, yes and no. I tried to do it with only plum.sqlite first, however the plum.sqlite file alone doesn't seem to be doing the job by anymore, I don't see my old notes even for a second with that approach. There are other files including plum.sqlite-wal which seem to contain a lot of data, so just to be sure I backed up the entire LocalState folder.

To be exact these are the steps:
    1) Terminate then Reset Sticky Notes in Windows App Settings
    2) Open Sticky Notes and log in using old account. Wait for the old notes to Sync and download.
    3) Backup entire LocalState folder and put it aside.
    4) Terminate and Reset Sticky Notes in Windows App Settings again
    5) Open Sticky Notes and log in using new account.
    6) Terminate Sticky Notes in Windwos App Settings
    7) Replace the entire LocalState folder from back up.
    8) Start Sticky Notes again - this is where I can see all my old notes for a few seconds before they disappear and they are no longer there. What is interesting is that the size of the plum.sqlite and plum.sqlite-wal does not seem to change and they still contain my old notes inside them. Sticky Notes just decides to ignore it. But if that is the case where does Sticky Notes store its plum.sqlite files now?

    Weird.

Is anybody still able to help here?

I'm not sure what else to suggest since it's not successfully importing into a new profile.

As a workaround, you could take a screenshot if the notes while they briefly appear to be able to manually recreate them for the new profile.
