As a variation to option 2, if you have a second drive with plenty of capacity, rather than shrinking C drive, you can create a folder called image on second drive, and a sub folder scratch, then use something like:
dism /capture-image /imagefile:E:\Image\install.wim /capturedir:C:\ /ScratchDir:E:\image\Scratch /name:"ASUS Pro 10" /compress:maximum /bootable
I tried this and it works. It is easier than messing around shrinking C drive, creating new partition etc, and reversing when finished, but of course, you need a second drive.
As an aside, I boot into Macrium Reflect Winpe mode, navigate to above command in a batch file and run it.
