    As far as I know, you can't capture Windows2Go image from USB and use it to deploy to a PC or VM. You can create and capture an image on a VM to be deployed to Windows2Go drive, though.
    Turns out my install.wim file was corrupt. I recreated it again using my WinToGo USB as the source image and successfully deployed it to the VM

    I have a small issue. Everything works fine but the start menu seems corrupt -- the tiles are all over the place. How does one go about reset the start menu layout/cache in Windows 10?

    Great thing about this site - if you have a question about how to do something in WinX, chances are that someone has already written a tutorial on it....but finding them can sometimes be a bit of a pain.

    Yep, it's kinda hard to find what I want, but once I find it, I bookmark it so I can go back to it.

    Hi Kari, thanks for such a well detailed post! It has helped me tremendously. I do have a question though...

    There seems to be some disconnect between the end of section 2 and the beginning of section 4. Seems as though maybe the creation of a new partition is left out. When you are ready to turn off your computer at the end of part 2, surely you don't want to use the Sysprep "generalize" feature because it will remove all user profiles. Is there any way though to remove machine specific settings in the new image to be able to create this ISO and install it on another machine, carrying over user accounts?

    @Kari

    Did you experience any issue with One-Drive not working/launching once you setup a users account after your sysprep tutorial. I followed your guide and everything worked fine except I noticed One-Drive couldn't open or launch -- even after I created a new User account. I ended up having to delete it in Audit Mode and setup up manually after the OOBE setup.

    I was able to get around this issue by following @
    minority temporary fix from your other tutorial here on page 56.

    Yes, I have occasionally been unable to launch OneDrive on new, sysprepped installation. Not a big deal, a solution that always works is to go to Download Microsoft OneDrive and download latest OneDrive setup version and run it. Has never failed.

    Existing OneDrive does not have to be unistalled.

    Thnx for the advice @Kari. I have a small issue though. Am trying to use this Custom ISO for deployment on different PC and so having to manually re-install One-Drive for each new user on each new PC wouldn't be convenient. I found @minority fix using the following code (he added a line to your .bat file) works except I have one gripe -- the cmd prompt shows while One-Drive is installing.

    How do I run the .bat file with the cmd prompt either minimized or hidden from view? I read online about using a .vbs script as one option.

    Code:
    echo Y | del %appdata%\microsoft\windows\recent\automaticdestinations\*
    %Systemroot%\SysWOW64\OneDriveSetup.exe
    del %0
