    Thanks for the reply.

Good to know it's safe, from the horse's mouth.

However, now it says "Cannot import... error accessing the registry". Is this a permission issue?
It sounds like a permission issue.

Are you currently signed in to an administrator account when merging the .reg file?

No, I'm signed in as a standard user. Is the administrator account the hidden one or the regular one which we manually create?

You can use either one so long as it is an administrator type account.

I'll give it a try and post back.

It worked with the admin account. Should've tried before asking.

    Thanks again for your help.

    why not using these*.reg files?

Whats the difference between your method here and the (much more simpler) *.reg files e.g. from here:

Hello tobwen, and welcome to Ten Forums.

    Either way is fine.

The method I use in this tutorial does add more to the registry, but it makes it easier since it doesn't require you to have to change the owner and permission of a registry key first to make it work. It's just a simple merge of a .reg file to add or remove it.

    Hello @hexaae, :)

I haven't found a way to add it back to the File menu yet, but I will keep an eye out.
Has anybody found a way to do this yet?
