I'm glad it could help cesarf. :)
Hello. I registered to tell you -- THANK YOU!
Regards,
Camusensei
Slight issue. It's not bringing over the full path from the system environment variable. When I run cmd from the start menu I see a listing of a particular application I installed by running the path command at the cmd prompt. After I open the cmd prompt here using the new registry change from the context menu, it has a different path listed. (Missing the path to an application I need in the path)
Any ideas?
Thanks
Hello nassausky, and welcome to Ten Forums. :)
The "Open command window here" context menu would open the command prompt with the path of the folder or drive you right clicked on.
Please go ahead and post some screenshots comparing the differences you mentioned to see what may be happening.

Thanks, Shawn. I've been searching for an easy way to return the command prompt to Windows 10, and came across all sorts of complex fixes. Yours was amazingly simple, and worked like a charm. Lots of gratitude from me.....
Thank you for another wonderful registry mod!

How can I replace "open Powershell window" with "open command window"?
With the above instructions I ADD this possibility.
But how can I REPLACE the SHIFT-RightClick context powershell entry with the command window?
