    Using menu File > Open Windows PowerShell (or Open command window here with RMB as described in this guide) will open the prompt in current folder path. It's different from just opening MS-DOS prompt with Execute Command...

    Correct. Was only pointing out another option. Choices are always good.

    also unfortunately, it doesn't give the option to open as administrator. The run dialog box use to have a "will run as administrator" or some such wording, but even then it didn't trigger UAC which is the only proof I'd have I'd be going into elevated mode ...

    @TG2
    Yep... you can always run PowerShell from File menu as admin and enter "cmd"...
    (SFC /? is a good command to test if you actually have admin rights)

    Hi Brink,

    Have you found a way to make this also open with admin rights?

    Thank you for the quick reply :)

    The registry tweak is awesome, however, I was wondering if there is something that can be done without tweaking the registry on every device I support to get this option -- Perhaps even something like a self-elevation command, similar to the sudo in the Linux terminal.

    Any ideas? :)

    hi Brink, thank you for your help.
    I decided to add cmd with rClick & cmd/adm with shift-rClick.
    Both worked like a charm after translated them.
