Restore Paint app in Windows 10
-
Hi John, I was just playing with Paint 3D, and if you right click on your photo, Edit with paint 3D you will see a T up
the top to add text to the picture, and on the right you can choose the font you want to use, and once you have typed what you wish to type, click anywhere away from the text, like in the old paint, and it works the same.

@Brink. Can I get the MSPaint app to show on desktop or in some form? Doesn't appear in APP list.

Hey Mike,
Sure you can. You could just manually create a shortcut to C:\Windows\System32\mspaint.exe to do so.
Paint will also be in the Windows Accessories folder in the All Apps list in Start.

But it is not there—only 3D paint.

You don't have the C:\Windows\System32\mspaint.exe file?

Thanks for that! I have too many projects saved using the old version and need more time to adjust to the 3D. Right now it just complicates things.
