    Hello @blm,

    1) A CD/DVD drive is considered a media drive, so it will not show up in the context menu until the drive contains media which would be a writable CD/DVD.

    2) The NoDrivesInSendToMenu DWORD is not there by default when set to show these drives.
    1) I have a new DVD+R RW 4.7GB in tray.
1a) my dust collector lappy shows Send to DVD RW Drive (E:) sans media.

    2) Yes, NoDrivesInSendToMenu DWORD is not there by default.
That's why I mentioned that I'm not finding NoDrivesInSendToMenu DWORD.

Edit: I used the CD ROM recently to burn/create bootable discs.
I do not recall at the time whether Send to was there.
I do not usually Send to optical media.

If you're still not seeing the DVD drive in the Send To menu, then you could test using an option below to manually add a shortcut of the drive in the SendTo folder.

Okay...my created shortcut "SendToDVD" does show in 'Send to' context menu. But, sends a file to the path. New created "SendToDVD" shortcut does not write/copy file to DVD.
Something must have went wonky recently when I created rescue media from ISO. Maybe, burn process did not close/release properly. And I'm just now noticing. I can't swear whether Send to DVD RW Drive (E:) was ever with my daily rider lappy or I'm just remember my dust collector machine.
