I'm glad it could help Lamberto. :)

I would like to add this does not work currently under creators update.

I tried a variety of ways of doing it, (Setup w/ Internet, Setup w/o Internet, updates for other apps on/off) and it continued to install the apps regardless.

Hello, and welcome to Ten Forums. :)

It's currently still working for me in build 16275.

The main thing is that if the suggested app is already installed, this will not help for it. You'll have to manually uninstall the app to remove it.

Try this (run CMD and copy/paste):
    Code:
    reg add "HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\ContentDeliveryManager" /v "ContentDeliveryAllowed" /t REG_DWORD /d "0" /f
    reg add "HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\ContentDeliveryManager" /v "OemPreInstalledAppsEnabled" /t REG_DWORD /d "0" /f
    reg add "HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\ContentDeliveryManager" /v "PreInstalledAppsEnabled" /t REG_DWORD /d "0" /f
    reg add "HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\ContentDeliveryManager" /v "PreInstalledAppsEverEnabled" /t REG_DWORD /d "0" /f
    reg add "HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\ContentDeliveryManager" /v "SilentInstalledAppsEnabled" /t REG_DWORD /d "0" /f
    reg add "HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\ContentDeliveryManager" /v "SoftLandingEnabled" /t REG_DWORD /d "0" /f
    reg add "HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\ContentDeliveryManager" /v "SubscribedContentEnabled" /t REG_DWORD /d "0" /f
    reg delete "HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\ContentDeliveryManager\Subscriptions" /f
    reg delete "HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\ContentDeliveryManager\SuggestedApps" /f

I have to say Brink is an absolute legend.. I had to sign up and start using this forum just to say your a legend.
For years I have been running into the odd post online from Brink and have to say it is always extremely relevant and down to the point.

    Thank you.

Sorry to resurrect the dead, but has anyone tested to see if these work?
How can I test to see if they work?

    Hello,

If you turn off via the tutorial, you'll know if it works if suggested apps don't automatically get installed.

What generated my question is that I have the reg entry but it seems apps are coming back. This I swore I deleted at there again. So I guess I was wondering if others were having this problem.

If this for apps included with Windows 10, then they could sometimes get reinstalled after a new build updated.
