You could edit the image in mspaint.exe to how you like to fit in the circle before using it as your account picture.
Hi, All
I did what that were informed on 1st page.
But 1 pic not were removed. I had 2 pictures. After I did what were suggest on 1st page. Then I saw that 1 pic were removed. But not the 2nd one.
So I uploaded a new pic. Then my previous pic were automatically removed. I want to ask that, Is the pic that were removed automatically after I uploaded new one is still available into my PC? If so then how can I remove this personal pic permanently from my desktop?
2nd question is that how can I get back Original Windows pic that I had before I made some changes or uploaded previous and current pic?
Sorry for my poor English!
Hello Hawk7, and welcome to Ten Forums. :)
Your recent user account pictures on the side are stored in the hidden folder mentioned in the blue note box at the top of the tutorial. You can delete them in that folder to remove them.
%AppData%\Microsoft\Windows\AccountPictures
The default user account picture images are in the hidden system folder mentioned in the blue note box at the top of the tutorial. You can browse to that location and select the default picture to use again.
%ProgramData%\Microsoft\User Account Pictures
Thanks for the reply.
Well, I cannot find any picture here when I go to:%ProgramData%\Microsoft\User Account Pictures
2ndly, Sir what you mean by blue note box?
I want to get back the Original account pic back that was from WIndows.
EDIT: I mean how can I browse to that location and select the default picture to use again?
Thanks.
The blue note box is on the first page of this tutorial thread.
You can copy and paste the folder location below into the address bar of File Explorer, and press Enter to open the folder.
%ProgramData%\Microsoft\User Account Pictures
