Ah, ok. It won't change the version. KB4498524 just allows KB4497093 to be installed so you can then install 18885.

@Brink another way to install a driver from a .cab.
Here is an example for Intel Software Guard Extensions

Extract all the files from the folder, using 7-Zip or WinRar or what ever unzipper/extractor one uses.

Find the .inf file. Right click and select install.

Go to Device Manager to see if it installed.

Then to be sure you got the most updated driver at Microsoft Update Catalog(it can be convoluted there sometimes), select the driver and right click and search for updates.

    Note   Note
This is just an example driver, and SGX will only show up in device manage if you have BIOS set to always have it on(which uses a little bit of memory always), when you switch to Software controlled, it disappears from Device Manager, which is OK because the service is running then(aesm) then.

This was just meant to show how to install a driver from a .cab file, in case the right click menu or DISM methods don't work

    You're welcome Shawn.
many of the driver updates I get from Mokichu at ROG forums are with out the bloat(the UI) where if the UI is installed only the drivers are updated through the .inf, and today I wanted to update my SGX and the .exe wasn't working, so I totally uninstalled everything to do with it, nuked the service in RegEdit, then installed via .inf ,then checked for updates in Device Manager and received the software.
