    Is there a way to get this setting in other Builds, or is it a whole new Registry Version?

    To even attempt you would need to screw around with permissions to rename the original to .old(don't delete it) wich is Trusted Installer, then the same gunk to copy the new one in. Then you can test it. If you move RegEdit out of the Windows folder to say desktop, it will not run. So just copying the new one to the desktop will not work either(I just tried on both insider VM and Host.

    I just exported a random key to see what it looked like. Still says version 5.00

    Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00

    [HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\.001]
    @="7-Zip.001"

    Ok...I'm doing something really wrong.

    I copied the key from one of your tuts, pasted it in the address bar and hit enter. It just beeped and put me right back where I was.

    Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00

    [HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\DesktopBackground\Shell\Personalization]
    "Icon"="themecpl.dll"
    "MUIVerb"="Personalize (classic)"
    "Position"="Bottom"
    "SubCommands"=""
    It's the proper key, but you have to remove the square brackets.

    Sorry @Edwin as I posted earlier, it is not the proper key, it doesn't even exist,
    Unless... one creates it or merges a reg file
