That's correct. I don't see the lock screen al startup. The computer starts without no need to type the password. I'm the admin and the only active user.
The problems begins at "i don't know how many time" that the computer locks showing the lock screen and the need after to type password.
Using method THREE i could see that the reg DWORD it's set to 0.
Could you type me the full path for the reg value? ... i'm not sure where to see it.
Tonight i started method THREE, and i only logout and login to start the task manager. This morning the computer was locked screen.
I'm just reboot ... and again i see the DWORD set to 0...But i'm not sure this method are working.

I have 3 programs started and running at the task bar: Chrome fullscreen, Steam Big picture fullscreen and PlexHomeTeather fullscreen (this one with the focus on). I'm afraid, this afternoon when i return home, perhaps i'll see the PlexHomeTheater closed and the damn lock screen ON.

Just to verify, the lock screen isn't the one that shows the users to select to sign in as.

Next, double check using the tutorial below to make sure that you do not have the Ctrl+Alt+Del secure lock screen enabled. If it's enabled, the lock screen will show even when the lock screen is disabled.

While doing OPTION THREE here to create the task, it's critical that all steps are performed exactly and fully. The full registry path the task uses is below.

Yes, i know that the question here isn't the FIRST screen to login. I know that the "damn lock screen" appears when a certain amount of time computer is idle.
I'm sure i've followed the OPTION THREE correctly.
Yesterday i follow the tutorial with a remote PC in another room of the house (The PC i want to disable it's the HTPC intel NUC in the salon). Tomorrow i'm gonna to repeat steps in the real PC, you know.
But this afternoon, standing all day the PC idle, i've just to see the lock screen (the beach and the rocks, default one)

As i said, tomorrow i'm gonna to redo in the real PC, (no remote session)
By the way...in the task manager, when i must to write the reg key...it's different what you're saying:
It's the same HKLM that HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE

This morning in front of my computer i started again to config the task manager following method THREE.
I checked the NOT secure login, NOT suspend, auto-login etc...The behaviour to turn on the computer without the need of login, never suspend screen and PC, disabled secure login etc...
All day PC ON with only 2 programs in fullscreen (task manager bar): Chrome and Steam.
All correct. All OK
Then, i think your method works.!

But, there is another program i use (openPHT - Plex Home Theater) that perhaps its the guilty of the strange behaviour of the lock screen. I have 3 programs normally running, but this morning openPHT not.
In past test, with the 3 programs, i saw always the lock screen after hour or hours, and openPHT closed.

Then my suspects is: for a strange reason openPHT crashes (nobody using altough)...or simply auto-close ... or give the PC to sleep ... i don't know. Or perhaps there is no relation between openPHT and the being of the lock-screen. But Its suspicious that after hours appears the lock screen and this program closed.
This night i'm gonna to leave the computer not-idle, with another program i need to install (teamviewer in system tray) and i expect the fine results.
After that, (tomorrow in the morning) i'll re-install carefully openPHT (it's very simple the options altough) watching for the fine results for the 3 programs i need for my HTPC

Sorry for answering too late.
I think all my tests are correct and i think i have drawn conclusions:

The Method THREE works for me at last. Following the steps all are OK...but there's 3 important things:

• I reboot the PC-HTPC ... starting the task manager (and the method THREE). Starting too 3 programs (openPHT = plex media theater + Chrome + Steam client.
• If a remote session from another PC at home is started (logging whatever user, indeed the same orbtwin-htpc) and after the session is closed (RDP remote desktop) ... then: in amount of time the damn lock-screen appears (and i don't know why the openPHT its closed). I mean: starting a RDP session and closing after, causes the PC to see the lock screen. It doesn't matter what user to use
• The same procedure using teamviewer (i asume the PC-HTPC "detects" another user loggin in) causing the same as above.

If a let the PC-HTPC without logging in from another computer, then, everything is OK about the lock screen. Doesn't apperars.
The question is:
How Win10 pro is "detecting" this "intrusions / loggins" causing the re-show the lock screen.
I imagine that there is a normal user logged (orbtwin-htpc) ... if the same user is doing "another logging" from another PC, the first one user are quit?..

It's a mess...otherwise, if i remain the PC in normal working, everything is OK
