Is there a workaround for this? I've got Win 10 Pro x64 build 14366. Can I upgrade to Enterprise or, Education somehow? Please, any help welcome.

    Hello zil, :)

If it's just your account on the computer, you could set Windows to automatically sign in to your account at startup to avoid the lock screen at startup.

Yes I'm aware, and I think I'm gonna have to use this as a resort. But still I'd like to be able to use winkey + L sometimes..

You will still be able to use Win+L to lock the computer, but you would still see the lock screen when you do.

Both are available through volume licensing, but not practical or easily obtainable for the average retail user.

Hopefully a way to disable the lock screen for the other edition will be found soon.

Is there a way of disabling this useless Lock Screen feature in Windows 10 Home Anniversary Editions?

Disabling the lock screen is available only to Enterprise, Education, and Server versions since build 14271. No workaround for Home and Pro to date.

OK, if I'm stuck with the Lock Screen (LS), I may as well configure it. I previously used the disable fix a few months ago to disable the LS then used the enable LS fix to enable it again today. However, I still see the following screen that "Some settings are managed by your organisation". How do I re-enable the LS to make my own settings?

    Hello Steve, :)

You might see if restarting the computer may finish applying the enable option.
