Hello Macco,

UPDATE:
Starting with Windows 10 Insider Preview Build 14328, the Recently added section has been updated so that it will now show 3 entries instead of just 1, and can be expanded to see the entire list of new apps.
I've not wrote before, but some cumulative update of some time ago (the past or the other before) seems have already solved this in my current TH2 build (1 row, of course) without me doing anything.
Thanks Brink as always.
Hi @Brink,
Thanks for this tip. I am looking for where the "Recently added" items get stored. I don't want to hide the list, per se, just clear its items. I still want newly-installed/added apps to show up.
Do you know where I would find the Registry key to clear the list? Thanks.
Basically, I want to write a batch file that does the same thing as this menu command:
When I click the menu item shown, all the recently-added apps disappear. However, if I install new apps, then they will still show up under "Recently added." This the behavior I want to automate with a script.
I am going to do some further digging to see if I can find out what happens. If I find out, I will let you know.
Brian
Hi, if you wish to discover where things are held in the registry by identifying changes to the registry for yourself you can use Regshot (free) or similar tools. Compares a snapshot before and after a change and produces a categorised report (usually short).
