Does this include storing pictures and videos? I am using a tablet and have those options enabled but when I select the SD card drive it does not get saved?

Hello Ralph, and welcome to Ten Forums. :)

This tutorial is only for where new apps from the Store get installed to.

If you like, please create a new thread for that issue to hopefully get a solution soon.

This does not exist in my C Drive (SP3 10 Pro) .

    Hello Eliot,

It's a hidden folder. Copy and paste the location below into the address bar of File Explorer, and press Enter should open it for you. :)

    %LocalAppData%\Packages

    Thank you Mr Brink.
Normally I might have remembered there could be 'hidden folders'..cross-eyed from 10 hours of trying to get 'Clean Install' to work.

But I guess I assumed W10 would close that off.

Where is the 'Show hidden' option hidden?

I too have an SSD and a 1TB hard drive in a custom PC that I just recently finished and all the apps I download are installing onto my SSD, which I prefer not to use for all of these minor applications. Is there any idea when the option to choose app save location will return?

Hello Madhat11, and welcome to Ten Forums.

I'm afraid that there's no official timeline given. Only that it will return at some point.

    UPDATE:

Changing the save location for where new apps from Store will install to works again in build 10576.
