For some reason it's missing the option to install to many of my drives. The drives simply aren't listed. Some of these are drives where I have installed Windows apps to in the past to.

    Hello,

Just to verify, did you already check to make sure that the Storage Service service is enabled and set to Start (running) and manual.

Hello. It is currently running but it is set to Automatic (delayed start). This should be changed to manual?

    Automatic would be fine.

As a test, are you able to select to move an app to one of those missing drives?

Nope. Don't see the drives there either.

You may need to manually delete the current WindowsApps folder on these drives before they become available.

Just a few more questions to try and find a cause:

Are the drives available from File Explorer > This PC?

Are these internal or external or network drives?

    Are they formatted as NTFS?

Any trouble accessing the drives otherwise?

For the sake of not making things to complicated multiple external and internal (Sata) drives are missing. But I just want to get the K: internal working which I have in the past.

Checked and windows apps and similar folders not there. Checked hidden. It's ntfs. I can open it fine in file explorer and no other issues. It's actually one of two partitions on this one drive, and the Other partition shows up for some reason but this doesn't. Checked security permissions on both drives and theyrre identical. Thanks for your help.

You could try temporarily copying anything you don't want to lose on the K: drive to another location, format the K: drive, test to see if you are able to select the drive to save apps to, and copy the other items back.

Unfortunately I have too much data on this drive and not enough space to back it up.

I'm going to test something. Going to set the storage service to 'Automatic' instead of 'Automatic - delayed' and reboot. Maybe the issue is the service is not seeing these drives when they load because it is delayed.
