Hello,
I'm setting up a new-to-me laptop and have just set my apps to save to my "D" drive. I haven't bought anything from the store - there's just what was automatically installed.
Anyway, my D drive now has 3 folders:
"ThinkPad" (my user name containing documents etc), "WindowsApps" and "Program Files".
I don't have the other files you show in the tutorial - are they only created when you get an app from the store?
Also, "WindowsApps" (in my D drive) shows as an empty folder (but when I click on it and get privileges I can see there's lots of things in there). Presumably this all moved over from the "C" drive as there is no "WindowsApps" folder there. %LocalAppData%\Packages is a hidden file still on the C drive. Should I be trying to move that LocalAppData folder over seeing as the "WindowsApps" folder moved itself, or just leave it alone?
Also, I want all my programs on the C drive. The "Program Files" on the D drive contains a folder called "ModifiableWindowsApps" which is empty. The "Program Files" on the C drive contains the same which is also empty. Should I be doing anything with any of these folders?
(I'm running windows 10 pro, version 2004)
