Windows 10: Change Apps Save Location in Windows 10
Does this include storing pictures and videos? I am using a tablet and have those options enabled but when I select the SD card drive it does not get saved?
Hello Ralph, and welcome to Ten Forums.
This tutorial is only for where new apps from the Store get installed to.
If you like, please create a new thread for that issue to hopefully get a solution soon.
This does not exist in my C Drive (SP3 10 Pro) .

It's a hidden folder. Copy and paste the location below into the address bar of File Explorer, and press Enter should open it for you.
Thank you Mr Brink.
Normally I might have remembered there could be 'hidden folders'..cross-eyed from 10 hours of trying to get 'Clean Install' to work.
But I guess I assumed W10 would close that off.
Where is the 'Show hidden' option hidden?

Step 5 in OPTION ONE of the tutorial below can help show you where it's at.
I too have an SSD and a 1TB hard drive in a custom PC that I just recently finished and all the apps I download are installing onto my SSD, which I prefer not to use for all of these minor applications. Is there any idea when the option to choose app save location will return?
Hello Madhat11, and welcome to Ten Forums.
I'm afraid that there's no official timeline given. Only that it will return at some point.
Well that sucks....can't install fable legends because i don't have enough space on my ssd... starting to regret this "upgrade"
Changing the save location for where new apps from Store will install to works again in build 10576.
How to Set Default and Public Save Location of Library in Windows 10
Libraries gather folders that are stored in different locations so you can browse them in one place. You can include folders and drives to a library as you like.
For some reason the option to save new apps to my 2nd drive is greyed out however I can save documents, music, pictures and videos there. Ive reset windows to a fresh install, reformatted the drive. Rebooted a ton of times and still nothing. Anyone...
I accidentally set the wrong location as default in Weather, and can't see how to change it!
Some of you might want to put some metro apps as short cuts on the desktop without having to use tiles etc. You can also create LINKS and save these on a custom toolbar if you want.
1) run the following command : explorer.exe...
