You should be able to while signed in to the built-in Administrator.

It doesn't look like you will be able to for this protected system folder.

Weird though that i have access in the default WindowsApps folder and not for the one i switched the location to. Same steps were followed.

Thanks for your help though. :)

Hello there, it's my first post here.

I have a problem. I upgraded my hard drive (D: ) and the Apps location came back to C: and I can't change it back to D:. I select D: and when I apply it comes back to C:

Anyone? I changed the PackageRoot to D: in registry, but it's not like that in Settings.

Any alternative ways to changing this without messing with apps that are already downloaded?
I have no options on the Storage window, though I have seen it before, not sure when this started up.

I'm trying to change the location of games installed as apps to my D Drive to not take up the limited space of my SSD.

Hello Sean, and welcome to Ten Forums. :)

Personally, I wouldn't recommend to move where your apps will be installed yet. This has been to buggy IMO right now.

I'm fine with moving everything, but I have no options to change anything within Settings > Storage.
The dropdown menus in there are completely blank.
