    Wow that was fast! ^__^

According to your chart above, "Systems that support Modern Standby do not use S1-S3." Can I activate S4 or is it simply impossible? @Brink
I've seen a few methods that are suppose to disable S0 to enable S4, but most of the time it usually messes things up.

About modern standby... I'm still on my first steps with this mode and maybe I didn't set my laptop correcly. Last time I left my laptop on my kitchen table for few days, and when I needed it, it was completely dead. It stayed in S0 all the way, yet it never went to hibernate... Is the new S0 mode that great, that now we can avoid hibernate? I don't think so until proven otherwise. @Brink, what do you think about it? Is there a "best" setting to fully enjoy modern standby s0 but avoiding killing the battery? Should I activate S4 (if possible) to put my laptop to hibernate after 1-2 days ? What are your thoughts?

    Than you in advance!

S0 is just a glorified idle condition and is not a sleep state. It will drain your battery somewhat less quickly than when you are using the computer but is nothing like S3 Sleep or Hibernation.

I have Hibernation working on my S0 computer without any problems.

    You haven't posted your
    powercfg -a
results so I cannot comment on your ability to enable Hibernation on your particular computer.

    All the best,

@Try3 @Brink I confirm that S4 is working well on a modern standby machine. I use it when I am on battery in case I forget it like last time while benefiting the “cellphone” approach otherwise.

I kindly thank you both for your precious time! ^_^
