    Good morning(my time anyhow) Shawn.
    I have been looking around the net, and stumbled upon a possible(but not always guaranteed) fix for when the Store updates "stick" or freeze. Maybe you'll want to see if you can do anything with it
    Code:
    net stop bits
    net stop wuause
    net stop appidsvc
    net stop cryptsvc
    Ren %systemroot%\SoftwareDistribution
    SoftwareDistribution.bak
    Ren %systemroot%\system32\catroot2 catroot2.bak
    net start bits
    net start wuauserv
    net start appidsvc
    net start cryptsvc
    pause

    Thank you Cliff. In addition, resetting the Store cache may sometimes help when you are having issues with installing or updating Store apps in Windows 10.

    Your welcome Shawn, I usually either use wsreset(I made a shortcut from System32) or what usually helps is a simple reboot or open task scheduler tree and Idown to WS an run both. I was just curious on your take of that bat file from the article.

    That would basically reset Windows Update, so it could help if there's an issue with Windows Update causing the Store updates to not work properly.

    So it's just the long(geek) way to do wsreset? If yup, then I'll stick to my shortcut

    Ok got it, thanks... anything that keeps me from having to reimage(reinstall what's that) and wasting 7 1/2 minutes of my life can be helpful

    go to C:\user/Bill/ app data/local/packages.
    right click on packages , then click take ownership which i have on my menu.
    done!
    if anyone have problem download and install apps from store, i have to say this is a way to go.
