    I haven't found a way of doing this having Googled the issue. You used to be able to add the -private switch to the Edge shortcut but this no longer works in v1809. How does MS have such a talent for making things worse? Chrome works fine in a similar fashion by adding -incognito to the shortcut command.

    I always just right-click the Edge task bar icon, and select New InPrivate window from there.
